The businesses represented at Pulling Together Locally are united
in the belief that the health and welfare of small local businesses
within our community who truly care about local shoppers is of benefit
to everyone. The small business members of Pulling Together Locally
have extended a hand of friendship, cooperation, and support to
one another. Our goal is to benefit the people of our community
and one another in the spirit of cooperation and goodwill.
The Inspiration
The inspiration behind Pulling Together Locally was derived from
small local business owners all expressing a similar desire to
find some way of pulling together, both to survive difficult economic
times, and the onslaught of large multinational corporations.
After much thought and consideration, Eddie Studios created Pulling
Together Locally as a means of meeting this need.
The Goal
Each small business member of Pulling Together Locally actively
shares in referring their shoppers and/or clients with other members
to provide additional exposure to one another. By pulling together
in this manor each member business hopes to benefit through an
increased awareness of their products or services. Additionally,
other site features such as our coupon section, free public classified advertising, and free public community calendar
offer site visitors reason to continue returning to Pulling Together
Locally, resulting in continued exposure for our members on an
ongoing basis.
The Benefits to Pulling Together Locally Small Business Members
Pulling Together Locally members receive numerous benefits including:
Premium Home Page Display: A home page advertisement
on the Pulling Together Locally website. In every case, all business
members benefit with an equal share of premium location. This
is because each of the four ad boxes, and the advertisements contained
within each box, continually rotate.
High Visibility: Whenever one of the four ad
boxes containing your advertisement is clicked, the resulting
page contains only the advertisements of each business contained
within your ad box. These ad sizes are four times larger and may
contain either a traditional ad linked directly to your website. In either case your
business has appeared a second time the site visitor to view.
Coupon Section: The Pulling Together Locally
coupon section is free to use by all business members. Members
may post coupons offering sale items, service discounts, or other
promotional information of interest to shoppers. Given the large
number of local businesses who are likely to be posting coupons
in one location, the Pulling Together Locally coupon area promises
to be a heavily visited by local residence, and as such will provide
members with even greater exposure.
Free Public Classifieds: A Newly added feature to Pulling Together Locally, our free public classified section is designed to provide the local community with a free source of classified advertising. This will not only benefit our local community but also provide increased exposure to member businesses through increased site visits.
Free Public Community Calendar: The Pulling Together Locally event calendar is also offered free to the local community as a means of announcing events of public interest. Yet another benefit to our local community that will also increase exposure to member businesses through increased site visits.
The PTL Newsletter: All Pulling Together Locally business members will receive free inclusion to the PTL newsletter, which will occasionally be emailed to opt-in shoppers. This will provide members with an additional advertising outreach for making announcements, or providing other information of interest pertaining to their business. This is similar to what might be received through a local publication, only free of charge.
